Town Triumphs

For only the second time in 10 years, Town beat Country when the annual fixture was played at the end of last month, Town's last win was in 1959 This year saw another very close contest with Town just nudging Country out by 14 points to 11. Quite a good game was seen by a small crowd. The Country forwards had the advantage over Town, but its backs could not match the much smoother Town combination.
