Champions Meet

The hockey match between Nelson and Canterbury could well have been called a national championship game. Canterbury, holder of the New Zealand Challenge Shield, met the minor association's Nor- don Cup holder, Nelson, on a sodden ground at the Botanical Reserve. It was a 2-all draw, with Nelson leading by one goal until with but a few minutes to go, when Canterbury scored from a penalty.
