Spring art Exhibition
The Nelson Suter Art Society's spring exhibition not only attracted a tremendous crowd to the private showing, but made history through the record sales of exhibits. The public paid more than £426 for them. The High Commissioner for the U.K. in N.Z., the Hon F.E.Cumming-Bruce, opened the exhibition.
