Baptist Church All-Age Sunday School

Another milestone in the history of the Nelson Baptist Church, the oldest in New Zeland, was the inauguration last month of an all-age Sunday School. The church now caters for infants to great-grandfathers at Sunday School classes. Among the many modern facilities is a beautifully-appointed creche and infants' nursery, and at the rear of the church work is proceeding on the erection of a new Sunday School block which is to cost £8000.

Classes are divided into age groups for men and women and already there have been more than 400 enrolments.

With the new Sunday School system operating, this could be the last anniversary of the 102 years' old Sunday School, celebrated here in the Nelson School of Music.
