Thrills and Spills
Motor-cycling fans had a feast during Labour weekend when the Nelson club held a 350cc road hill climb and a very spectacular scramble at Lansdowne Park - both of them for South Island titles. In the scramble, Alan Wilson (Blenheim) rode a very fine race to win handsomely from Des Boyce (Blenheim), and Denis Arbister (Nelson).
