Easter Bowls

An all-Nelson district final put the cap on this year's Easter bowling tournament held at Nelson. The title was won by the Richmond four skipped by George MacGregor, who beat the Wakefield four (Gil Eden), 22-10. The centre was favoured by magnificent weather, big entries (126 teams) and greens which played exceptionally well for so late in the season.
