Competitions Festival
For a week seemingly hundreds of children could be seen in all manner of apparel in the streets of Nelson, and all were heading in the same direction - to the Theatre Royal where the annual competitions festival was held We now print some of the competitors, and next month hope to have many of the winners.

Music was provided by bagpipe, piano and a variety of tape recorders, two of which are operated here by Noel Gillespie and Mrs Audrey McIntyre.
