"Pickle in Paradise"

Early next month the Wakefield Players will present their 1962 production, "Pickle in Paradise," at Wakefield. And what a pickle it is! The plot revolves mainly around two old ladies addicted to blackmail and the disposal of their ill-gotten gains. There is a Frenchman (amorous, of course), a Black Sheep, a salty Admiral's daughter and a rather perplexed vicar. We took these pictures at a dress rehearsal at Wakefield and saw enough of the play to appreciate the mirthquake it is going to produce
