"Johnny Belinda"

The story of a deaf mute and how she heard through the patience and sign language of the young and kindly village doctor, was the story of "Johnny Belinda", presented by the Southern Comedy Players in Nelson, As Belinda, "The Dummy", Peggy Turvey had a very difficult role, since she did not utter a word until the play ended, and she played it to perfection.
