Popular Headmaster Honoured

Mr. A. E. ("Nick") Nicholson, headmaster of Victory Primary School since it oppened in 1949, was honoured at a social evening this month - his last in the teaching profession. He retires today. Mr Nicholson has given 40 years of his life to teaching, 13 of them as head of Victory School. In June he and Mrs Nicholson will make a tour overseas. One thing is certain - if the wind drops on the voyage, there'll certainly be a man on board who can whistle one up. A happy retirement, Mr and Mrs Nicholson, You've earned it.
