Hard-Hitting Fijians Beat Nelson
A middle-order collapse in its second innings prevented Nelson from beating the touring Fijian cricket team. Fiji won by 52 runs. This was a highly entertaining game. The Fijians put tremendous zest into their sport, and their willingness to hit the ball hard and get on with the game, made them many friends. Fiji made 163 and 255 and Nelson 178 and 168 after having 143 for four in the second innings.
