Pea Shelling Made Easy
Housewives and reluctant husbands pressed into service, will agree that the worst part of providing peas for the family, is the shelling of them. If you've got a pea viner, however, it's as easy as shelling peas. These pictures were taken at the "K" pea viner, Appleby, during the height of the season. Here, the products from many hundreds of acres in the Waimea and Motueka areas are shelled with the minimum of trouble and canned just about as quickly.
