Y.M.C.A. Gala at Stoke

Indifferent weather earlier did not prevent a large crowd from attending this year's Stoke Y.M.C.A. gala at Isel Park. Distinguished visitors to the gala were Colonel and Mrs Lawrence Higgins. Colonel Higgins opened the gala and Mrs Higgins judged the decorated bicycles and prams, after which both were mobbed by youngsters eager to accept the Colonel's request to meet the young people.
