Summer Flower Show
The Nelson Horticultural Society's annual summer show maintained the high standard set by previous shows. The Memorial Hall, in Stoke, was the venue for the show.
Mrs D. Laugesen, a member of the Horticultural Society, admires the most outstanding floral art exhibit, "Delphiniums Predominant," entered by Mrs J. Pryme
The champion blooms in the show are scrutinised by Mrs Marilynne Lowans and daughter Erica. The rose, "Silver Lining," was entered by A. Hellyer, and the iris by Mrs D. McLachlan
