The Change-Over

1973 will herald a new era for the "Nelson Photo News." For more than 12 years, "Photo News" has been published by Logan Publishing Company Ltd, of Gisborne, and that company will continue to print the magazine. However, the new publishers will be Annabel Publications, of New Plymouth, who are the publishers of "Taranaki Photo News," which is also printed by Logan Publishing Company. Initially, Annabel Publications will have David Hallett, a photographer with "Taranaki Photo News," stationed in Nelson, so a complete coverage of local activities is assured. Subscribers will continue to receive the magazine as usual and "Photo News" will be distributed by runners and through retailers as normal.
