Young Golfer Turn Pro

David Hartshone is only young but he has already set his sights on a professional golf career. The 15-year-old Motueka golfer has taken his first steps to joining the playing pros by joining Jim Morgan's shop at the Nelson Golf Club. So, for the time being, David's serving his apprenticeship. "But I hope to play tournament golf, "he said. And, at an age when most golfers are aiming at provincial and national selection, David Hartshone hopes to be footing it among the tough world of professional golf.
