Seddon Shield Districts Basketball

Nelson College A and Waimea College emerged as the top sides in the boys' and girls' divisions, respectively, in the Seddon Shield Districts' secondary schools' basketball tournament, held in the Stoke Stadium. Entries for the tournament were disappointing, with no teams from outside the Nelson-Motueka area competing. However this did not detract from the standard of play.
