St. John Ambulance Cadets Tested

Nelson Intermediate School was transferred into a place for the sick and injured, recently. And there to assist the "patients" were about 100 cadets, from the Nelson-Marlborough Sub-District St John Ambulance Association, who participated in the annual competition. Cadets were tested on resuscitation, home nursing, first aid and improvising. Oral and practical tests applied in most cases. The standard overall was good and, in some instances, exceptionally high.
