Mini Speedsters Turn It On
If you're ever free on a Sunday afternoon, and the go-kart track at Redwoods Valley is operating, go and have a look at these little karts in action. They re low to the ground and tremendously fast. And the track is so planned that spectators can view the entire race without difficulty.
One of the most experienced drivers in the Nelson Go-kart Club is Pat Rudolph
And it's not only for the men either. Glenys Schwass scorches her kart through a tight turn
Out of one bend and into another. Leading the field is Ray Heath, followed by Bruce Higgs, Graham Wehner, Eric Peterson and Neil Harris
