South Sea Banquet Bubbled Along On Tahuna Sands
More than 1000 people attended a Polynesian Banquet, organised by the Nelson District Public Relations Officer, Mike Veal. Nelson foods and Nelson wines were used to provide a feast for those who attended and the night was acclaimed a success. Many visitors associated with the vintage car rally were among the revellers. Highlights of the function were Maori action songs by the Nelson Maori Culture group, The banquet was held at the Tahuna camp.
