Married. Mr and Mrs Graeme Harris were married recently at the Sign of the Takahe Church in Christchurch. The bride was formerly Miss Jan Phipps, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs D. N. Phipps, 231 Hill Street, Richmond. The attendants are Jill Roache, Gisborne (chief maid), Dannie O'Connell, Christchurch (best man), and Alison Phipps, sister of the bride, Christchurch. The couple are now living in Christchurch.

The Reverend Neil Clarke, minister of the Te Hapara Parochial District, Gisborne, for the past eight years, has transferred to Woodville. He and Mrs Clarke were farewelled by parishioners, and among those at the function were, front, from left, the Mayoress of Gisborne – Mrs H. H. Barker, the Reverend and Mrs Clarke, and Mrs C. Baker. Back: Messrs Barry Lloyd, the Mayor of Gisborne – Harry Barker, Rev. Ian Crumpton, Colin Baker and Geoff Crone. The Reverend and Mrs Clarke are formerly of Nelson.
