Nelson Hosted National Croquet
Visiting croquet players who contested the national tournament in Nelson must have found our reputation of sunny weather true. During the several days the tournament was played, the sun shone brightly. Contrary to popular belief, croquet is not just a game for the old. There were many young players in the tournament and most of the major titles were won by the younger brigade.
