New Zealand umpires' badges were recently awarded to several Nelson women bowlers. Ella Burridge, secretary of the Nelson Umpires' Association, and Mollie Glasgow, president, made the awards to Mollie Robinson, Monica Fellowes, Dolly Inwood and Joy Scott (all United), and Jean Ewing and Daphne Tantrum (Stoke).
