Pipe Band Steps out in new Uniform

The efforts of many fundraising campaigns finally realised a reward for members of the Richmond and District Highland Pipe Band recently. Smartly turned out in the Hunting Mcintosh tartan, the band led the parade to open the boat show. Those uniforms cost the band $3400. And it's all been paid.

After the formal presentation of the uniforms by the Mayor of Richmond, Mr M. J. McGlashen, the Pipe Band marched to the head of the parade, led by Major Ron Craig
