Nelson 'A' Claims National 'Y' Title
Nelson A scored an aggregate of 81 points to win the Y.M.C.A. national older girls' tournament held at Richmond.and Nelson. Gisborne was second and North Shore, last year's winners, were third. Winners of the various sections featured in a public display before a large crowd in the Richmond stadium as a finale to a successful tournament. Fourteen teams competed.
