To New Zealand's international rugby season, Nelson contributed one player — Maori All Black wing-threequarter Terry Mitchell, 21. Terry is a member of the Celtic dub, although he served with Takaka for a few seasons before "coming over the hill." This is his fifth season in senior ranks and he made it a memorable one by playing in the final All Black trials in Auckland and against the Lions with the Maori team.
