A new kindergarten teacher in Nelson is Miss Vivien McDougall from Perth. Vivien's at the Stoke Kindergarten and here she makes friends with one of her charges. The little girl in front does not seem to be with it at the moment

Off to Singapore for at least two years with the Air Force is Cpl Eddy Taylor, son of Mr and Mrs W. K. Taylor. Eddy's with the No.41 Squadron which is a transport outfit. He's been to Singapore for a holiday and one of the trophies from that trip can be seen on the wall

Jeffrey Wastney, second son of Mr and Mrs George Wastney, Wakapuaka, recently graduated B. E. (electrical) at Canterbury University. Jeffrey is now with the N.Z.B.C. engineering section on site testing for T. V. translators
