Looks like a miniature Sydney Harbour Bridge doesn't it? It is in fact the new footbridge over the Maitai River at Hardy Street. It is being built by C. Gibbons Ltd and replaces the wooden structure which was swept away during the August floods.

The old structure had seen the end of its days when this photo was taken. Maitai's raging torrent tore it away.
