One Big Bunch of Birds
What a time a hungry cat would have had if he could have gained entry to the Nelson Cage Bird Club's annual show! Or what a performance there would have been if all cage doors had opened stimultaneously. But neither eventuated and the show was held successfully amid a multitude of twittering, squawking and screeching. There were more than 700 entries from all over New Zealand.
This little chap kept sticking his head out for a drink but refused to sign autographs so we didn't get his name
"If I get outa dis cage I'll tear ya to bits". It might have been all bluff but we didn't bother to find out if this King Parrot could bite. Judging by that beak he could deliver a nasty nip
These budgies didn't look very happy when we hopped in the cage with them. But you couldn't expect them to be happy with a camera cllcking and a flash assaulting their vision
