Canine Capers

Some dogs did as they were asked and others didn't. But regardless of individual performances the Nelson Dog Obedience Club's first ribbon trials were a barking success. The competition ranks were augmented by visitors from Marlborough.

Pippa the Poodle was not going to sit there with the rest of the dogs. Pippa wanted to be with owner, Mrs G. Lawson, and left the rest behind. In this case Pippa's individuality lost points.
