A Changing Scene
Work continues apace on the Hotel D.B. Nelson. At this stage the car park, boiler plant site, lift wells and beer tanks are being prepared. The approximate height of the hotel will be 120ft so residents in the Wellington Street area will not have this view much longer. The new hotel, which will be a tremendous boost to Nelson, will have 100 bedrooms (and 200 beds) as well as conference rooms.
