Karate on the Beach

The Wellington Karate Club - a very exclusive karate club so we hear - spent a weekend in Nelson with members of the Nelson club. Club master Bill Young, formerly master of the Nelson club, brought the members down to show local enthusiasts classical techniques. The Wellington men gave demonstrations on Saturday night and on Sunday exercised, with Nelson members, on Tahunanui beach (Above). (Photos: Bill Sumby).
