Christ Church Cathedral surveys Nelson from the treeclad heights of Church Hill. Nile Street runs from the bottom through to the top of the picture, the Nelson Bowling Club's greens are at right. The Nelson Brewerery site, just below the cathedral on the corner, is being cleared to make way for a new international hotel.
