New Rubbish Service

The disposal of rubbish, whether you're a householder or a firm, is always a problem, a problem that has been accentuated by the City Council's latest rubbish disposal system. A new Nelson firm, Container Services Ltd., has the answer to this problem. Using a number of containers of differing capacities, the firm delivers the containers to the site of the rubbish and returns to pick up the rubbish and dispose of it. This is a unique Nelson service and one that has already caught on. It has both commercial and household applications. We watched the operation at Stoke recently. The truck arrived, dumped a container which was filled by front end loader. While this was going on the truck was free to deliver another container or pick up a full one for disposal.
