Richmond Schools' Music Festival

The three Richmond Schools, Henley, Richmond and the Salisbury School for Girls, presented an excellent music festival to a large audience in the Waimea College Hall last month. We attended the final rehearsal to get these photographs. The Salisbury school presented a number of Maori action songs and they were emulated by pupils of the Richmond school who presented actions songs, a Maori stick game and a haka. The picture Above was taken as the Richmond children performed an action song.
