All Black selector and coach of the 1970 team which toured South Africa, Ivan Vodanovich, addressed a very large audience at a meeting of the Nelson Catholic Men's Dinner Club recently. Looking very grim, as Ivan chats informally to them before the dinner, are Vern Goodall, Charlie Cowman (co-selector Nelson Bays, Don Mac-Lean and Roy Connolly (Celtic Club).

Des Thomas trying out the new 7.62 target rifle which has replaced the old S.M.L.E. rifle used by rifle clubs for many years. The new rifle has a much heavier barrel and less recoil.
