Front: Our front cover hardly needs explaining. It is a recent aerial view of a section of Port Nelson looking along Wakefield Quay towards Tahunanui (with the beach on the right).

Back Cover: Climax to the centennial year of rugby football in New Zealand was the inter-island game played at Nelson, the cradle of New Zealand rugby, last month. The centennial celebrations included a parade along Trafalgar Street and a centennial dinner on the Saturday night after the game. This pic shows the Nelson Rugby Club's entry in the parade - a horse-drawn coach, symbolic of the 100 years the club has been in existence.
