Norman is married and came to Nelson from Invercargill 8 years ago. His spare time interests include indoor bowls and "work". Noel, a son of his employer, is learning the plastering business. He was educated at Nelson College and is a keen tramper.

For fun he follows the gee gees and does some gardening. Stephen (although his accent doesn't betray him) comes from Brighton, England, and has been in Nelson eight years. He is single, enjoys soccer and all sport.
