When Roger Nicholson and Ann Phillips married in Feilding recently, a large number of invited guests from Nelson were unable to attend. To give these people and many other friends of the family an opportunity of seeing bride and groom, the parents of the groom, Mr and Mrs David Nicholson, staged a second reception in the form of a buffet tea at their home at 29 Arapiki Road. Roger is their only son, and Ann the elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Ivan Phillips, of Feilding. Local attendants at the wedding, seen with bride and groom here, are Barry Nicholas and Jennifer Freeman. The bridal couple are seen at Right with Mr and Mrs Nicholson.
