"Come Into The Garden, Maud"
Garrick Theatre's latest production, Noel Coward's "Come Into the Garden Maud", had a east of only four. It was a simple little play (possibly with a message for the over-dominant female or male), well-produced by Molly Dickinson, and very well presented (along with correct accents) by the players. A simple plot - overbearing wife, long-suffering husband, glamorous, understanding female acquaintance. The result? Hubbie takes off with g.u.f.a.
Anna-Mary Conklin (Janet Coote) speaks her mind, much to the embarrassment of her husband (Dan Dungan). On the receiving end was Maud (Yvonne Staig).
