Stock Car Title Meet

The Tasman Stock Car Club ended its season with a championship meeting at Lansdowne Road recently. Winner of the event was Chris Guard in his 3550 c.c. Dodge (Top Left), The meeting, like most of the others this season, drew a big crowd and the drivers really poured it on to make this a meeting to remember. Above - A flag officer prepares to take off as Bruce Smith in No. 55 heads his way. Dave Pannell, behind him, had just pranged him amidships.
