A Life of Ups & Downs

For the rodeo rider, life is a continual series of ups and downs. It's not so bad on the ups, but oh boy! it can be awful rough on the downs. Our cameras caught quite a bit of the action at the rodeo at Motueka earlier last month. Good entries were received for the events and a big crowd watched the results of man's battle against gravity and the beasts he bestrode. Congratulating her brother Peter Hansen for his third placing in the novice steer ride is Gay Hansen (Above). They're from the Rainbow Station.
