"King of the Lake"

Speedboat racing enthusiasts who travelled to Lake Rotoiti for the King of the Lake two-day regatta of the Lake Rotoiti Power Boat Club certainly had their share of the thrills. One boat sank, another caught fire and another flipped during a race. Above is Kevin Tinetti beside "Banshee" which flipped during a race. Tinetti gashed his leg badly enough to require stitches.
