Ballroom Dancing

The grace and expertise of experienced ballroom dancers thrilled onlookers during the ballroom dancing contests and examinations at the Stoke Hall last month. An extremely high standard was set by dancers. Top award of the evening went to Miss Suzanne Mangos, seen above with her dancing partner, Mr Cliff Abrahams, and examiner, Mrs Anne James (Wellington). She was awarded an "Oscar", the highest award in amateur ballroom dancing. Left: Richard Rainey and Sharon Kells who were successful in gaining a gold cross in the Latin American examinations.
