"Emil and the Detectives"

The televised version of this play, which features the misfortunes of one, Emil, and the efforts of the "detectives", is probably well known by most boys and girls. It's a great little story, just made for a school drama group, and the pupils of the Nelson Intermediate School certainly made a great job of it. In brief, for those who didn't see the play, the boy Emil (left) had his pocket picked, and while stranded, with no money, he meets "the gang". They turn detective and finally run to earth a big crime syndicate. Jolly good stuff!
