Nelson's First "Gang Show"

Nelsonians are in for a rare treat next week when a cast of 60 Scouts throughout the Nelson area combine to present Nelson's first "Gang Show". "Gang Shows" are not new in New Zealand, and after seeing and hearing the boys at rehearsal, we're sure this one won't be the last held in Nelson. We can assure all our readers that this show will go off with a bang. The music, like the show, is fast moving, and those who know Jim Radcliffe, the musical director, will know that nothing but the best will satisfy him. This is a variety show we can thoroughly recommend, but it has a very short season (three nights) so you'd better book early.

All the cast appear in a special white rig, wearing a "Gang Show" scarf. Here, Brian Drake, assisted by Harold Nelson (rear) and Mrs Elva Newell, the secretary, outfit Ross Doyle.
