Arbor Day Plantings

Two "raw" areas of Nelson, the causeway to the Boulder Bank and the reclaimed area at the corner of Quarantine and Bolt Roads, were the sites chosen for this year's tree-planting programme. Members of Rotary Clubs and Guides and Cubs assisted at each area, along with members of the public. We attended the planting at Quarantine Road where about 400 trees were made available by the Council.
