Judges of the Round Tables public speaking contest were Messrs W. E. McCullough, J. F. Wheeler and B. H. Wakelin. Mr Wakelin, headmaster of Nelson College for the last 12 years, announced his resignation recently.

Building and repairing pipe organs is the occupation of Mr George Sanders, and his job has taken him all over the world. We saw him in Nelson re-building the pipe organ at St.Mary's Catholic Church. The organ had not been completely overhauled since it was installed in 1895.
