Leaving Nelson for Petone are Sandra and Gary Luff. Sandra worked for the Avon Dairy, Stoke, and Gary was a plumber with Bennet's Ltd., He was also a member of the Stoke Volunteer Fire Brigade. He is to join the Petone Fire Brigade as a permanent fireman.

Patricia Banham, who worked with Air Traffic Control, Wellington, left Nelson for a working holiday overseas. First stop is Australia where she will work for about six months. Later she will join forces, in London, with Anne Quinland
