Comings and Goings

These smiling faces from Gisborne belong to the family of Dorothy and Tony Berdiner. Tony is the new headmaster of Stoke Primary School, and was formerly headmaster of Te Karaka School, Gisborne. The other members of the family are Dennis, Annette and Deborah.

The new officer in charge of the Ministry of Works's soil conservation station in the Moutere is Frank Scarf. He brought wife Althea and children Donna and Grant with him to Nelson from Wellington.

Off to Wellington are Ivan and Donna Rapley and daughter Raey. Ivan, who has been senior overseer with the Post Office construction branch in Nelson, now takes up the position of inspector in Wellington.

Wilma and "Harry" Pickup are off back to their old home town, Dunedin. Harry, who has been with the Valuation Department in Nelson for two years, is leaving the Government service to go into commerce.
